Logo and packaging redesign for Don Chilio's line of delicious Mexican Chilé Crisp.
The Challenge
Don Chilio had wide distribution in Mexico but when they tried to move into the US market they were having trouble selling through in major retailers. The packaging was too generic looking and wasn't representative of the high quality product that they produce. 

The Solution
We came up with a bold iconic logo that works well both on and off the package. We also optimized the sizing of the product messaging to help with visibility on shelf, added a heat level meter, iconic chili windows and changed to a more modern looking jar. Lastly we added a nod to the founders Mexican heritage with brightly colored radiating geometric patterning that is reminiscent of Aztec Sun art.
